Inspection Results - Identification

This inspection task requires the seller to use their Driver's Licence or Photo Card for their identity verification. They must take a photo of the front and back of their identification document and a selfie. This step includes fraud and deep fake detection.

Identification System Verifications

ID Expiry Checks if the driver’s license is expired or still current on the submission date.	Valid The Seller’s driver’s licence or photo card was valid at the time of submission.	Expired The Seller's driver's license or photo card was expired at the time of submission.
Data Edits After the system extracts the data from the Seller’s driver’s license, this verification will check if the user has edited significant amounts of data.	Pass The seller edited little or no data between the system extract and review.	Warning The driver’s licence / photo card data submitted may be significantly different compared to the photo provided.
Face Match Matches the picture taken of the Seller to the face from the photo ID on the driver’s license.	Pass Reasonable confidence that the picture on the driver’s licence or photo card matches the selfie provided.	Warning Unable to verify with high confidence that the picture on the driver’s licence or photo card matches the selfie provided. Failed The selfie photo provided failed to match the photo on the driver’s licence or photo card.
Liveness Runs a liveness check to confirm the user is an actual person.	Pass Reasonable confidence that the selfie was completed by an actual person.	Warning Unable to verify with high confidence that selfie was completed by an actual person. Failed Low confidence that selfie process was completed by an actual person.
Authenticity Performs multiple tests of ID document authenticity to check if the document is authentic. Text Features - This check verifies the presence of important text features specific to each ID document. - Pass, Warning, Fail - Score Black and White check - This check returns the probability of the ID document is not a black and white photocopy. Expiry check - This check returns a score on whether the ID document has expired. Photo substitution check - This check returns the probability an ID document has not been falsified via photo substitution. MRZ Check- This check returns a score indicating whether the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) has been falsified.	Pass Reasonable overall confidence score for Authenticity of the driver’s licence or photo card. Option to view ‘Details’ to see specific confidence scores. Allowed Document (real-time) This check occurs real-time when the Seller is taking the photo of their driver’s license. They may receive a prompt alerting that the document they are taking a photo of isn’t a valid driver’s license.
