Driver’s License or Photo Card Verification


The Driver’s License / Photo Card verification checks are performed by a service provider called Truuth. When the seller clicks on the License or photo card action item, they’re redirect to the Truuth process.

The seller first selects Australian Driver’s Licence as the identification method.

The seller is asked to take a photo of the front of their driver's license

They review and confirm that the image has been captured correctly.

Next, they take a photo of the back of their driver's license.

They review and confirm that the image has been captured correctly.

The system will automatically read and extract Driver’s Licence details.

The seller reviews the information and corrects any errors before submitting.


The seller is then prompted to take a selfie.




The camera will highlight their face with a green outline. After a few seconds, the selfie will be captured.


This selfie will be used to verify the seller's identity against the driver's license.
